Triumph has expanded its off-road lineup again. Triumph started with the TF 450-X and 250-X motocrossers. The British marque recently expanded that with TF 450-E and TF 250-E enduro bikes. Now, Triumph wants a part of the cross-country GNCC market with the TF 450-C and TF 250C. Although primarily based on the motocrossers, the two C bikes also draw a bit from the enduro line. - Other than the motor, the 2026 Triumph TF 450-C and TF 250-C are identical. The larger displacement engine puts out more power, naturally, while the 250 is snappier with a much higher redline. - The C motors are tuned specifically for cross-country use. The 450 and 250 produce more peak power than the E engine, though less than the X equivalents. - The TF 450-C and TF 250-C suspension units are shared with the X and E models, though the C’s KYB get their own tuning. While set up a bit softer for GNCC racing by Triumph, the KYB units are fully adjustable to each rider’s taste. The aluminum spine frame is also optimized for GNCC work.
- The C bikes use an 18-inch rear wheel. Dunlop Geomax AT82 rubber gets the call on the C models, compared to the AT81s on the E range. Also, the front tires on the Cs are wider.
- Like the X motocrossers, the cross-country C models lack a headlight.
