2015 Victory GunnerVictory Motorcycles RecallPolaris Industries – the parent company of Victory Motorcycles and Indian Motorcycle – has recalled 2,342 of certain model 2013-2015 Victory motorcycles.
Victory says the following models may have fuel-pump issues due to incorrectly crimped wiring during manufacturing:
2013-2014 Cross Country
2014 Cross Country Eight Ball
2013-2014 Cross Roads
2014 Cross Roads Eight Ball
2015 Gunner
2013-2014 Hammer Eight Ball
2013 Hardball
2013-2014 High Ball
2013-2014 Jackpot
2014 Ness Cross Country
2013-2014 Vegas Eight Ball
Polaris says that the incorrectly-crimped wiring could cause the motorcycle to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.Victory will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on January 19, 2015. Owners may contact Victory consumer service at 1-877-737-7172.
