Twisted Throttle and the Twisted Throttle North American dealer network are proud to announce the addition of Mitas dual-sport/ADV tires to the product lineup. Mitas dual-sport tires have long been praised for their excellent performance, superior tread life, and durability.
The Mitas tire line features four models in various tread patterns with six different profiles to suit the most discriminating rider.
Each of the six tire profiles are available in popular sizes, including the popular rear 150/70-17 size, which is especially well suited for larger adventure bikes such as the BMW R1200GS, Yamaha XT1200Z Super Tenere, Suzuki V-Strom and other popular adventure models.
The E-09 Adventure and E-10 Safari models are also offered in a Dakar version, which features a thicker, stronger, and wider bead area compared with the standard version, and a stiffer carcass that is less prone to punctures.
Mitas E-07 DUAL SPORT
The E-07 is a DOT approved long-distance all-rounder with a hard wearing compound. The E-07 features a cross-ply construction that is suitable for intermediate to hard terrain. The rear 140/80-17 and 150/70-17 sizes also feature a dual compound rubber.

Mitas MC60 GETaWAY
The Mitas MC 60 GETaWAY has a big block tapered tread pattern designed for grip, comfort and a long life. Its unique design features a directional knobby that can be mounted both directions depending on the terrain. One direction is ideal for on-highway use, the other gives added bite for off-road adventures. Usable tread life of about 5000 miles can be expected.
