For the third-straight year, Dainese USA will hold its “Measure to Tour” event throughout the USA.

At the events, customers have the opportunity to be fitted to custom-made Dainese leather motorcycle apparel. This custom-fit process is exactly what keeps Dainese’s star riders comfortable during racing.

Some names? How about 15-time World Champion Giacomo Agostini, nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi, IOM TT star Guy Martin, and 2006 MotoGP Champion Nicky Hayden.

The Italy-based Dainese wants all of its riders in pure comfort, and this is why the “Measure to Tour” event created.

Dainese USA will visit nine locations across the states throughout October. During each visit, certified “made-to-measure” Dainese specialists will be available.

“We’re excited to once again give North American consumers the opportunity to be measured by our custom-fit professionals,” said Dainese USA Vice President of Operations Roberto Sadowsky. “Demand for made-to-measure apparel has been growing, and this tour has grown by three stops in just its third year, giving more customers the opportunity to become owners of garments that are truly one-of-a-kind in terms of both fit and appearance.”

At each tour stop, a limited number of customers can schedule appointments to be measured by Dainese Made to Measure specialist Angela Trotto, who will be on hand from Dainese’s world headquarters in Vicenza, Italy, Dainese’s North American Made to Measure Coordinator Allan Jones, Dainese says.

For each customer, 26-body measurements will be taken, after which custom leather suits, jackets and pants will be produced by Dainese’s highly trained tailors and leatherworkers. Custom-made garments meet the strict standards of the European Union, where they are produced, Dainese says.

Dainese’s 2014 North American Fitnet Tour will include the following stops:

• October 3-4: New York, NY Mototainment – Ducati Triumph
• October 6: Montreal, Canada Ducati Montreal D-Corner
• October 7-8: Toronto, Canada Riders Choice D-Corner
• October 9: Detroit, MI Sportbike Track Gear
• October 11-12: Chicago, IL D-Store Chicago
• October 14: Portland, OR MotoCorsa
