Twisted Throttle is bridging something new to Rhode Island…or the entire East Coast, for that matter – Puget Sound Safety Off Road (PSSOR).
PSSOR is one of the most respected rider-training schools in the country, and as the name suggests is based in the Puget Sound area of Washington state.
Since 2001, PSSOR has been known for providing the best in off road rider training, and now Twisted Throttle is honored to bring this training course to the East Coast.
About PSSOR’s Adventure Riding 101 Course
“PSSOR’s Adventure Riding 101 arms both new and experienced adventure riders with the most essential off road riding skills. When the pavement changes to gravel and dirt, so too should your riding skills.”
Adventure Riding 101 is lead by Bret Tkacs – ADVMoto and Dual-Sport News Magazine columnist, motorcycle industry pioneer, international traveler, and professional instructor for the past 20 years. This training course will build your skills so that you can tackle your next (or first) adventure ride with greater confidence and enjoyment while reducing your risk of bike damage and personal injury.
If you are a street rider crossing over to the dirt or a dirt rider who is self-taught this is the class for you! Learn how to become more precise in controlling your motorcycle off road while learning the secrets for maintaining traction on different surfaces.
“Sunday School”
The course will be conducted on Sunday, May 25 (the day after the Twisted Throttle Open House). Make plans to visit Twisted Throttle on Saturday for our Open House, sit in on Bret’s presentations about his worldwide adventures, and enroll NOW for the Adventure Riding 101 with PSSOR on Sunday. Enrollment is limited to 30 riders to ensure you get quality time with the instructors.
Your day will start off with a morning of training at a super-secret closed location near the Twisted Throttle World Headquarters. You’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch break before you head out in the afternoon for an Adventure ride led by PSSOR instructors and Twisted Throttle staff to practice the skills you just learned.
