Pirelli Angel GT Motorcycle Tire Test with Biaggi

Two-time World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi performed some testing of Pirelli’s new Angel GT motorcycle tires in a very unusual location – an Italian Navy Aircraft Carrier called Cavour.

While on deck of the Cavour that’s anchored in the new Taranto naval base, six-time World Champion Biaggi performed many braking tests aboard a few different Kawasaki Ninja 1000 sport bikes.

Biaggi tested the tires by hitting 65 mph before slamming the Kawasaki’s brakes at a pre-established braking spot.

Pirelli says “The Angel GT tires allowed Biaggi to unleash the bike’s full horsepower before ensuring an immediate stop on wet asphalt. Pirelli’s new Angel GT sport touring tires were developed for naked, super sport and touring bikes.”
