Tickets are now available for the 2013 Legends Ride to be held on August 5, 2013, the Sturgis Buffalo Chip reports.

The Legends Ride is known as the kick-off event to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and has raised nearly $300,000 for local charities in the past five years of the event. New for this year’s 6th annual Buffalo Chip Legends Ride® is the opportunity for one lucky ticket holder to win a free VIP Upgrade Package.

The Legends Ride pairs Sturgis Rally-goers with celebrities and top custom bike builders on a 55-mile scenic, escorted ride from the historic town of Deadwood to the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip for a catered reception and world class concert in the famous Buffalo Chip amphitheater. The Legends Ride – The Ride That Rocks, will begin on Deadwood’s famed Main Street in front of the historic Silverado-Franklin Hotel and Gaming Complex on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013. Riders will enjoy the one of a kind atmosphere of this true Wild West town as they celebrate the day with celebrities, custom bike builders, VIP’s and fellow riders from around the world.

Over 500-plus riders and passengers will be immortalized in a special group photo taken by renowned motorcycle photographer Michael Lichter prior to departing on a 55-mile ride through the canyons of the Black Hills.

Riders arrive at the Buffalo Chip’s, Russ Brown Events Center for an exclusive reception with complimentary food and drinks. A showcase auction with motorcycle and music items and a viewing of the Motorcycles as Art exhibition will take place before riders hit the Buffalo Chip amphitheater for a double headlining world class concert. Legend Ride participants that purchase their tickets prior to December 31, 2012 will be eligible for a free, VIP Upgrade Package.
