Just ahead of the Japanese MotoGP at Motegi Oct. 2, the original “We for Japan” T-shirt signed by all 17 riders on the 2011 grid is up for auction on eBay.

The T-shirt originated just after the deadly 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami that devastated Japan March 11. Although copies of the shirt were also sold for charity, this is the original, which will be sought after by true MotoGP fans.

All the proceeds go to charity in support of earthquake victims. Now you can bid on that T-shirt, signed by every racer from Ducati Team’s Valentino Rossi to Yamaha’s Ben Spies.

The Japan eBay auction ends Sept. 29, and can be found here.

MotoGP says: “Reproductions of this shirt in support of Japan have been available for purchase in the MotoGP store, but now you have the chance to win the original signed shirt from which the reproductions have been made.

“All proceeds will benefit a local Japanese humanitarian organization in support of relief efforts following the March 2011 earthquake and its after-effects, to be presented to the organization during the upcoming MotoGP event held in Motegi.”
