Indian Motorcycles | 2012 Lineup

2012 Indian Motorcycles

The 2012 Indian Motorcycles lineup hasn’t changed, the American company recently acquired by Polaris continuing to offer the Chief Classic, the Chief Dark Horse and the Chief Vintage.

All three 2012 Indian Motorcycles features the push rod, Power Plus 105 ci (1720cc) engine, which reportedly produces around 75 horsepower; the motor features a closed loop, sequential, port injection with heated oxygen sensors. All the power is laid to the ground through a six-speed transmission.

The chassis on each Indian Motorcycle features mono-shock unit, with stopping power arriving from dual disc brakes up front, with a single disc out back.

The 2012 Indian Motorcycles feature 16-inch spoked wheels, a solo saddle with fringe, air-brushed pinstripes and signature Indian script complete the custom quality paint on each and every motorcycle.

Following is a breakdown of each 2012 model; Polaris has not reported MSRP info.
