The all-new offering in Harley-Davidson’s 2012 Dyna lineup is the Switchback, one that caters to the rider who wants to quickly transform from cruiser to tourer.

Harley makes this possible on the 2012 Switchback by offering color-matched saddlebags and a fork-mounted windshield that is easily removable without tools.

Besides the ease of switching from cruiser to tourer as the name implies, the new HD arrives with the Twin Cam 103 V-Twin engine, offering 100 ft. lbs. of torque at 3500 rpm.

This powerhouse easily muscles around the Dyna Switchback, which weights in at 718 lbs., 94 less than the Harley Road King. Harley also improved handling on the new Dyna Switchback by offering premium suspension, low-profile front tire and a revamped front-end geometry.

The MSRP for the 2012 Dyna Switchback begins at $15,999 (Vivid Black). For a full preview, click here.
