International Six Days Enduro Video
The 2011 Six Days International Enduro wrapped up Saturday in Finland, with the home team taking the world trophy. As for the Junior and Women’s ISDE trophies, France took top honors in both.
With its World victory, Finland took its first trophy since 2006, which also ended France’s three consecutive trophies. Spain came in second, over 40 minutes behind Finland, with the US in third. Sweden claimed an eventual fourth-place ISDE result with The Netherlands fifth and Germany – the host nation of the 2012 ISDE in sixth.
In the Junior ISDE trophy, France won by over 13 minutes ahead of Sweden, with Great Britain in third.
With a massive one-hour and twelve-minute winning margin France secured a deserved victory in the Women’s Cup competition, helped by a final day winning performance from team rider Ludivine Puy (Gas Gas). France took the win over Finland and Australia.
Attached are highlights of this year’s ISDE; the above video shows highlights from the final day of the ISDE Enduro, and the video below shows FIM President Vito Ippolito at the ISDE.
