2011 BMW Motorcycle
Sleek and powerful, the BMW K 1300 S’s inline-four cylinder motor outputs a considerable 175 horsepower (claimed).
BMW’s superb quick-shifter now aids the six-speed gearbox, and the second-generation electronically adjustable (on-the-fly) suspension makes a noticeable difference in varying road conditions aboard the K1300S.
The Paralever rear suspension is coupled to the rear wheel by shaft drive. Despite non-radial calipers, the bike’s brakes are responsive and don’t lack feel; ABS is standard this year, as are sport wheels.
BMW’s informative On Board Computer is also standard for 2011.
