AMA Pro Racing
Halfway through the 2011 AMA Pro roadracing series, riders equipped with Chicken Hawk Racing tire warmers are leading four out of five classes in battles for this year’s national championships.
In the American SuperBike points chase, nine of the top 10 riders charge to each first turn with the confidence provided by Chicken Hawk Racing-heated tires. The company is proud of Blake Young, Tommy Hayden and Martin Cardenas for capturing seven out of nine wins so far in the season.
Danny Eslick leads the pack in Daytona SportBike, where he and Jason DiSalvo have taken four of five pole positions and won four of the eight races so far. In this fiercely fought middleweight division, eight of the top 10 racers are Chicken Hawk Racing-equipped.
Young guns James Rispoli and David Gaviria are atop the east and west SuperSport standings, respectively. Combined with Tomas Puerta and Corey Alexander, who are running second and third in eastern region points, these hard chargers have battled to five wins.
In XR1200 action, Chicken Hawk Racing tire warmer-shod bikes have crushed the competition. Chris Fillmore and Steve Rapp have two wins apiece, with Kyle Wyman taking the other one, for a clean sweep of all five rounds. Fillmore, Rapp and Chicken Hawk runner Michael Barnes have also taken every pole position.
David Podolsky (Chicken Hawk Racing President and Founder) says: "We’re thrilled to have so many of these elite competitors relying on our tire warmers. Since 1993, we’ve worked hand-in-hand with tire engineers and top race teams to build warmers that every team and racer trust. We congratulate all of them and look forward to their continued success throughout the year."
