Monza Supersport: Yamaha Tops QP1


2011 World Supersport

The Yamaha ParkinGO team began quickly in Monza for Round 4 of the 2011 World Supersport Championship, leading Friday’s qualifying practice.

Both Yamaha R6 riders – Chaz Davies and Luca Scassa – were four-tenths ahead of the remaining riders.

Davies and Scassa, who have three out of three wins so far in the World Supersport season, were followed by Step Racing Honda CBR600RR rider Gino Rea and Hannspree Ten Kate Honda’s Florian Marino.

Rounding out the top six were Broc Parkes on the Kawasaki ZX-6R and Roberto Tamburini on the Bike Service Racing Team Yamaha.
