For the second consecutive round, Yamaha ParkinGO Team rider Chaz Davies piloted his YZF-R6 to victory. This weekend Davies took this week’s win in Italy after 16 laps of the Monza circuit.
Joining Davies on the podium was his teammate Luca Scassa and Hannspree Ten Kate Honda’s Fabiet Foret, who finished 7.9 seconds behind Davies.
2011 World Supersport
The Yamaha ParkinGO team began quickly in Monza for Round 4 of the 2011 World Supersport Championship, leading Friday’s qualifying practice.
Both Yamaha R6 riders – Chaz Davies and Luca Scassa – were four-tenths ahead of the remaining riders.
Separated by only 0.270 of a second at the checkered flag, Luca Scassa and Chaz Davies gave the Yamaha ParkingGO team its first 1-2 World Supersport win at Donington Sunday.
It was Scassa who just beat his teammate on the YZF-R6; the Italian now has a perfect 50 points, and Parkes is in second with 31.
Provisional WSS Entry List
The FIM released the provisional entry list for the 2011 World Supersport season. The last-minute surprise was that the BE1 ParkinGo Team of Chaz Davies and Luca Scassa will be switching from Triumph Daytona 675 motorcycles to a pair of Yamaha YZF-R6 machines.

Both riders have shown impressive pace during preseason test sessions, underlining the competitiveness of the bike in the most important championship for strictly production based motorcycles.
