Doing what very few racers ever have the courage to do, Chad Reed started his own team this year, and he chose to do it with Honda.

In the midst of an impressive 2011 AMA Supercross season, including taking his first win aboard the Honda CRF450R in San Diego, Honda caught up with the multiple AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Champion to ask the question, “Why Honda?”

For Chad Reed’s response, check out “The Choice” YouTube video attached above.

In the 2011 AMA Supercross Series, Reed is currently second in the point standings, six points behind the series’ leader, Ryan Villopoto (Monster Energy Kawasaki). Two rounds remain, with 25 points up for grabs.
