Off-road racing legend Larry Roeseler is now back in the saddle with Husqvarna, the motorcycle brand that’s as iconic as he is. The 10-time SCORE Baja 1000 winner may be racing trucks these days, but he still spends plenty of time on riding and racing motorcycles, and now when he does it will be on a Husky.

2011 AMA Supercross
It’s been two months since GEICO Honda riders Eli Tomac and teammate Jimmy Decotis have mounted their 250cc machines for Supercross Lites West action, and the duo are hopeful the long layoff brought on by the tour’s journey through the eastern states will have no effect on their stellar early-season performances.
Yamaha YZ 450 rider James Stewart (JS7) takes third for his band of San Manuel Indians at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on Saturday in front of 53,342 motorcycle racing fans. The day started out raining on and off making the track more difficult as the night went on.
The rain fell hard on the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego last Saturday for the seventh round of 17 in the AMA Supercross series – also an FIM World Championship – but over 53,000 spectators were able to witness San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart seal a steady third position for his sixth podium result of the season on the YZ450F.
SX Lites San Diego
Rookie Honda 250cc rider Eli Tomac earned the first victory of his very short Monster Energy AMA Supercross Lites West career at Qualcomm Stadium on Feb. 19, 2011 in San Diego.
The rookie was out of the gate strong and never looked back despite enduring sloppy track conditions.

Chad Reed returned to the top of the podium in San Diego Saturday evening, as a soaking-wet crowd of over 53,000 motorcycle racing fans withstood the rain inside Qualcomm Stadium for 2011 Monster Energy AMA / FIM Supercross. The SX event was the final of five races held in Southern California this season.

Pro Circuit Kawasaki KX250R riders Josh Hansen, Broc Tickle, and Tyla Rattray return to action as the 2011 Monster Energy SX, and FIM Motorcycle Racing Championship see the AMA Supercross Lites Western Region riders one more time before a seven-week break.
This weekend, AMA Supercross will compete in California for the last time of the 2011 season.
Going into Round 7 in Cali, there’s a tight battle up top, but Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto has the advantage; he holds a nine-point advantage over San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart.
