Hard Rock: Official Hotel of Supercross Finals

2011 AMA Supercross

As the 2011 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season culminates in Las Vegas with one of the most hotly-contested championship battles of all time, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas will be ready to host the stars of the sport and supercross’ most dedicated fans. The Monster Energy Supercross Finals are set to take place on Saturday, May 7 at Sam Boyd Stadium.

For fans still looking for the opportunity to head to Las Vegas and witness what is sure to be an epic championship showdown at Sam Boyd Stadium amongst several of the world’s best riders, a limited number of rooms are still available at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in the fan block, starting at $79 for a weeknight stay. Visit SupercrossOnline.com/hardrock to reserve rooms today (this limited offer is based on availability and ends April 15).

On the track, the Supercross class title fight is heating up. After several shakeups to the championship standings, a total of five riders are within striking distance of the coveted title. TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed continues to compile the most impressive season by a non factory-supported rider of all time while Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, who has led the standings for the majority of the season, looks to turn around his luck after some tough outings.

Additionally, defending Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ryan Dungey, of Rockstar/Makita Suzuki, looks to keep the ball rolling after grabbing his first win of the season while both San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart and American Honda’s Trey Canard do their best to keep close to their rivals.

Bus shuttles will run between Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Sam Boyd Stadium throughout race day, providing fans an alternative option to get to the stadium to be a part of the memorable festivities. Shuttle passes are available at UNLVtickets.com.

To bring the 2011 season to a close by honoring Monster Energy Supercross’ champions and most influential figures, Feld Motor Sports will host the annual Awards Ceremony inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s premier entertainment venue The Joint by Rogue on Sunday, May 8. This celebration is a great opportunity to recognize the top riders and industry personnel that were an integral part of this remarkable season.
