At the 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Greg Tracy took the win in the 1200cc class aboard a Ducati Multistrada 1200.

Tracy, who dons the number 555 aboard his Ducati, posted took Pikes Peak at 11:46.6, with his teammate Alexander Smith taking third with a 12.53.4 in the same class.

The team returns with fury this year, as Tracy will look to keep his title at the 12.42-mile course featuring 156 turns. In this YouTube video, the Ducati team discusses the upcoming 2011 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb slated to take place June 26.

Ducati Team Principal Rod Faulkner talks in the video, along with five-time Pikes Peak winner Tracy and his teammate Smith as they prep for this year’s race.

About Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Pikes Peak begins at 9,390 feet and finishes at the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak. As the drivers climb toward the summit, the thin air slows reflexes and saps muscle strength. The thin air also robs engines of 30-percent of their power at the summit. Competitors and vehicles must be in top shape simply to finish…let alone win!
