Ducati / Rossi Video
When the Valentino Rossi and Ducati partnership became official after the 2010 season, it quickly became the largest news in MotoGP chatter.
After the switch was official, the MotoGP world anticipated the release of the first photos featuring Rossi and the Ducati GP11 in 2011 Livery. This occurred at the WROOOM media event in the Italian alps in January.
This YouTube video gives Rossi fans a behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot of the nine-time World Champion and the Ducati GP11 Desmodesci in 2011 Livery
The Ducati GP11 that Rossi will compete on during the 2011 MotoGP Championship features individualized fairings, which were personalized by world-renowned artist Aldo Drudi, founder of Drudi Performance.
The Desmo has the typical Ducati red, but also features some of the iconic yellow Rossi is known for on the tailpiece.
The 2011 MotoGP season starts March 20 with a night race in Qatar, but the Italian has plenty of work to do to regain his fitness after off-season shoulder surgery.
He injured the shoulder during motocross training early last season, and it hampered his ability to keep pace with former Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo, who won the 2010 MotoGP World Motorcycle Championship.
