2011 Supercross

Feld Motor Sports announced today that K&N Engineering inked a one-year deal to be the official and exclusive air & oil filter of the 2011 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season. The 2011 season marks the first year of this exciting partnership.

With the 2011 Monster Energy Supercross season underway, K&N, the latest sponsor to jump on board with the championship, is thrilled to expand their product line to the legion of fans attending supercross races this year.

Nick O’Kane (Powersports Manager, KTM) says: "We’re extremely excited to be the official air & oil filter of Monster Energy Supercross.

"Supercross provides a great platform and an immense audience for K&N filters in all facets of the marketplace. This will help us build K&N’s brand awareness at the highest level. K&N plans to be on site at every round with a display in the pit party area showing the latest High-Flow Air and Oil Filters for motorcycles, cars, trucks and now big-rigs and semi-trucks!"

Nearly 40 years ago, K&N Engineering first began their journey producing and distributing world-class off-road motorcycle filters. To date, K&N has continued to step-up their product line, by producing not only dependable oil and air filters for off-road motorcycles, but top notch filters for automotive products alike. The family-owned and operated group has grown into a global company driven to increase performance for customers on and off the track.

Dave Prater (Director of Supercross) says: "We are excited to add K&N to the lineup of top-level sponsors supporting the championship. K&N provides a commanding product line and a solid reputation that compliments their presence in the motor sports industry."

Throughout Monster Energy Supercross races, K&N will have a strong presence on the track and in the pit party. K&N will be showcasing their widely popular product line in a variety of power sports vehicles where fans can get an up-close inspection of their product’s abilities in action.

Johnny Jump (Brand Manager, K&N) says: "Reaching this new level with supercross of being able to talk face to face with consumers in the pits and showing them our diverse collection of performance filtration products, gives us the opportunity to take our brand to the next level.

"Our consumers ride and that means they have heavy duty vehicles such as trucks or SUV’s. The K&N performance intake systems produce horsepower, and when you’re hauling bikes or a trailer, that’s exactly what you need."

K&N filters are designed to increase horsepower and fuel economy while holding up over a million miles of wear-and-tear – a must-have in the garage of the ‘work hard, play hard’ Monster Energy Supercross enthusiast.
