2011 Buffalo Chip News
Eureka, South Dakota’s own Survivor, Holly Hoffman, has made it to the final five and will be featured in the CBS competitive reality show Survivor Nicaragua’s season finale Sunday, Dec. 19 at 8 pm ET/PT (check local listings for air times in other time zones).
Hoffman confirmed Friday that she will be at the Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground for the entire Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in August.
She will be available all Sturgis Rally week to meet with campers and concert-goers for autograph sessions.
While at the Buffalo Chip, she will join former Survivor star Rupert to help him raise money for Rupert’s Kids. She also will be among the celebrities participating in the Buffalo Chip’s annual Legends Ride which benefits The Sky Ranch for Boys and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame.
The 44-year-old Eureka swim coach has survived through 15 episodes of the immensely popular CBS Survivor Series’ twenty-second season, and will be vying for the $1 million prize in Sunday’s episode.
Rod Woodruff (Campground Owner) says: "We are delighted to have one of South Dakota’s own be so successful in the grueling competition of Survivor Nicaragua. And, of course we’re especially happy to have her bring her star power to the Buffalo Chip to help us celebrate our 30th annual party and to help raise money for Rupert’s Kids and the Legends Ride charities."
