UK Battistinis Expo: Evel Knievel Memorabilia

UK Motorcycle Show

Evel Knievel was the original motorcycle daredevil, who defied the odds, thrilled audiences and was an inspiration to millions of people the world over.

Now – for the first time – Evel’s original motorcycles, famous jump leathers, personal memorabilia, unseen photos and untold stories are being exhibited on a world tour for everyone to see and marvel at the wonder of his death defying achievements.

All this will occur at the True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin’ Expo, May 28-29, 2011 in Bournemouth, UK.

At this expo, you can teach your kids about good and Evel. With the throttle wide open Evel Knievel went head to head with danger and lived to tell about it. Despite failure, crashing and injury, Evel always rose to perform again. This unconventional attitude to do things that had never been done before is exactly what made him so famous.

The tour is set to inspire fans and families to "Dare to Dream" – Knievel was the daredevil who aspired to entertain and show nothing is out of your reach.

Now parents and their children will get the chance to see the Evel Knievel famous Harley-Davidson Jump Motorcycle which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the Twin Falls, ID – Snake River Canyon, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognizable blue and white leather motorcycle suits (with the real scuffs from crashes) in the exhibit plus lots more.

California Dreamin’ is also an officially endorsed World Championship of Custom Bike Building Affiliate event, which means that there will be an incredible opportunity for custom bike builders to compete for a place at the Official World Championship and win bike freight and related expenses to go head-to-head with many of the year’s greatest American custom bike builds.

As well as a custom motorcycle competition and display there will be up to 100 fabulous exhibition stands promoting everything for the custom bike enthusiast from custom bikes and parts to accessories and clothing.
