Vegas EnduroCross: Champs to be Crowned

EnduroCross Finale

Four coveted AMA No. 1 plates will be handed out this Saturday, Nov. 20, in the Expert Pro, TrialCross, Amateur Open and Vet classes at the sixth and final round of GEICO AMA EnduroCross, presented by E3 Spark Plugs, finals at Las Vegas Orleans Arena.

Handling the duties of crowning the four GEICO EnduroCross AMA national champions will be the AMA’s own Director of Racing, Joe Bromley.

Joe Bromley says: "The AMA’s very excited with the EnduroCross series and what their team has done to promote the sport of off-road motorcycle racing. It’s unique to have one race to determine who’s the best in the world of off-road for the support classes."

"The crossover aspect with EnduroCross is especially interesting. In addition to the great international off-road racers like Taddy Blazusiak, you have Mike Brown from motocross, Geoff Aaron from trials and guys like Destry Abbott who compete on the AMA’s Hare & Hound, National Enduro, along with racers from the GNCC series."

"And, with all the AMA championships on the line, we’re definitely looking forward to being in attendance this Saturday at the Orleans."

Tickets are still available for the upcoming Nov. 20th GEICO EnduroCross finals at Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena. Link to endurocross.com for details. Doors open at 6 p.m., racing begins at 7:30 p.m.

About AMA EnduroCross

EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of off road racing into a supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole… and even a few special obstacles like giant tires thrown in.

Known as the "toughest racing on two wheels," this indoor version of extreme off road racing will certainly keep you on your feet. With its excitement and unpredictability, the EnduroCross championship has always down to the wire and this year will be no different as the series starts and finishes at Vegas’ Orleans Arena.
