2011 Suzuki GSX-R
This sketch is apparently of the 2011 GSX-R600 or GSX-R750, and was leaked before the ’11 GSX-R will be officially released at Suzuki’s dealer shows in Las Vegas next weekend and Intermot Cologne 2010, a motorcycle fair in Germany.
The mirror-less sketch shows a return to stacked headlight and a different air-intake inlet look on the motorcycle, with four separate inlets stacked next to the headlights.
Although the changes are subtle, Suzuki says the ’11 GSXR is revamped from chassis up. We’ll all have to wait until the next week for details and photos, which will be posted here on UltimateMotorCycling.com once everything’s released.
This year was tough on Suzuki, as the Japanese company didn’t import any sportbikes into the United States for 2010 due to the financial crisis.
These sketches show that Suzuki is again on their game of the machine that simply dominated the AMA Pro Racing Superbike series underneath the body language of racers Ben Spies and Matt Mladin.
This is just one example of a returning (although slowly) economy in the motorcycle industry.
