Indy GP Video: Hayden Puck, Stoner Crash

MotoGP Video

In this video, Ducati Team rider Nicky Hayden discusses what occurred with his knee puck at the Red Bull Indy Grand Prix, Round 11 of the 2010 MotoGP Championship. The YouTube video also shows the incident occurring.

Hayden lost the knee slider on the third lap, and had to race the remaining 25 laps without it. After stating the race was downright miserable due to this incident, Hayden went on to finish in sixth.

The race may have possibly been Hayden’s best result of the year, considering he placed his GP10 on the front row for the first time this season, taking the last spot up front with Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo and pole-sitter Ben Spies on his Monster Tech 3 Yamaha.

The video also shows the crash of Hayden’s teammate Casey Stoner, who crashed out on turn 11 during lap eight.

MotoGP continues at San Marino for the Misano Grand Prix this Sunday, Sept. 5.
