MotoGP Laguna Seca: Bicycle Race

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca announced that riders from the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix will be taking to the race track early on bicycles to kick-off the MotoGP and AMA race weekend.

The Twilight Ride will take place on Wednesday, July 21 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on the world-renowned circuit and motorcycle racing fans are invited to join them.

The bike ride will be free to all ticket holders for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix and $10 to all other participants. All proceeds will be donated to charity.

In past Twilight Rides, lucky cyclists have had the opportunity to bicycle with the riders that have competed at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Last year, race fans had time difficult negotiating the "Corkscrew", the most famous turn in all of motorcycle racing.

Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix riders such as Casey Stoner, Nicky Hayden, Tommy Hayden, Josh Hayes, Tommy Aquino and Ben Bostrom have pedaled bicycles with the fans during past Twilight Rides here at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The MotoGP Americans and AMA Superbike rider Ben Bostrom, known for his outrageous World SBK passes into the top of the famous corner, are the one’s who know the fast line down the Corkscrew.
