Ryan Dungey Ready for Red Bud National

Motocross News

This weekend’s Red Bud National marks the halfway point for the 2010 AMA Pro Motocross season, and the Rockstar Makita Suzuki team is ready to race.

Red Bud is one of the most prestigious tracks in the series with one of the largest crowds at any motocross event, and has an exciting track layout that is sure to make for some great racing.

2010 AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Dungey has proven that he is the man to beat in the Outdoors, having recently piloted his 2010 Suzuki fuel-injected RM-Z450 to his fourth consecutive overall victory at last week’s Thunder Valley National outdoor motocross.

Dungey’s winning streak has launched him 51 points ahead of the next closest racer, more than a two-moto lead, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. He has won six of the last eight motos aboard his RM-Z.

Ryan Dungey says: “We have won four in a row, but now is not the time to let up and get complacent,” Dungey said. “Red Bud is a track in which we haven’t been able to put it together in the past, so we’ve been working hard this week to get ready.”

Dungey’s teammate and fellow premiere-class rider Matt Moss is also proving to the motocross world that he is not to be taken lightly. Matt has put in lap after lap out on the practice track preparing for this weekend’s race, and is looking forward to his sixth race in America.

Catch the 450 class live on NBC this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST, and the 250 race on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. EST.
