ParkinGO Misano: Qualifying 1st Session

ParkinGO News

Giuliano Rovelli confirmed his good form, powering to the provisional pole position at the end of the first qualifying practice session of the Triumph ParkinGO European Series.

The rider / team manager was very detemined to take back what he had lost at Monza, despite the track condition, slippery due to sand on the surface deposited by the wind, and was faster than the overall leader Fabrizio Perotti.

The fourth round of the series had a 20 rider grid, including 8 wild cards, one of which was a member of the fairer sex: Alice Betti, who joined Samuela De Nardi. It is easy to predict that with a track in better condition faster times will be set.

The starting grid might change, especially the front row, which is now also made up of by Marzotto and Repetti, and the second row, where Salom was faster than Paolillo, Samuela De Nardi and Ruggiero.

Giuliano Rovelli says: "Aside from the fact that I’m happy with the result, I’m also very pleased with how the Triumph ParkinGO Series is growing race after race. It’s really a treat watching 20 Triumph Street Triple on the track , it brings back to my memory the beginning of Superbike, with all those naked bikes in the AMA back in the ’80s!!!! ".
