Millsaps Crash Update

Round four of the 2010 AMA Motocross Championship at Budds Creek in Mechanicsville, MD, took place on Saturday, June 19, and Honda Red Bull Racing’s Davi Millsaps had a day he would rather forget.

Millsaps got a mid-pack start in moto one and was holding down eighth spot when he crashed hard, requiring trackside medical attention and a trip to the hospital.

Examination ascertained that Millsaps suffered multiple injuries so he was kept at the hospital for observation.

It is anticipated that he will be released shortly to return home, where he will be under the care of his regular physician.

American Honda announced today that Millsaps was released from the hospital and has returned home after being injured in a crash at Budds Creek.

Millsaps sustained multiple injuries but is expected to make a full recovery. However, his return to racing this season is uncertain at this time.

Honda and the staff here at Ultimate MotorCycling wish Davi all the best and extends our hope for a speedy recovery.
