Motocross News

America’s longest-running amateur motocross race, the Mammoth Motocross, is scheduled for 11 days of racing action in Mammoth Lakes, California, June 17-27 and Dunlop will be on hand beginning on June 16 to provide racer services.

Running continuously since 1968, the Mammoth Motocross is the premier amateur MX event on the west coast and one of the highest attended/contested amateur motocross events in the world, averaging well in excess of 3000 racers in every age group and bike classification available.

Throughout this event, the Dunlop support crew will be set up to provide full sales and tire mounting service to Mammoth Motocross racers in the parking lot of Footloose Sports, located at 3043 Main Street in the town of Mammoth Lakes.

Racers who bring in wheels (removed from the bikes) can receive special pricing for tires, mounting for a nominal fee, and an air pressure check along with recommendations for the proper tire for track conditions.

Mike Buckley, Vice President, Motorcycle Tires, said, "Amateur racing remains at the core of our sport, and Dunlop has long maintained a strong commitment to backing amateurs, as evidenced by our national Team Dunlop amateur program and strong presence at amateur events across the country."

Dunlop Tires is the largest supplier of original equipment and replacement motorcycle tires in the U.S. and the only manufacturer of motorcycle tires in North America.

With North American operations headquartered in Buffalo, NY, Dunlop has been making and selling high-quality tires in the U.S. since 1923. For more information, visit dunlopmotorcycle.com
