Sturgis Rocks
Legendary Buffalo Chip is ecstatic to announce that the hard rockin’ California quintet, Buckcherry will be returning to the Chip’s infamous amphitheatre for this year’s 70th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally music lineup.
Scheduled to perform on Monday, August 9, the L.A hard rockers will be joining prominent blues rock power trio, ZZ Top in providing Chipsters a night of entertainment unlike any other.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, the Grammy-nominated hard rock band has seen significant success since the release of their 2006 album, "15," which included top ten hits "Sorry" and "Crazy Bitch."
In addition, their album "Black Butterfly" which was released in 2008, reached the top ten on Billboard’s Top 200. The hits "Too Drunk…" "Rescue Me," and "Don’t Go Away," helped propel the album to Gold status.
The rock music luminaries have toured with an array of rock and roll legends including KISS, AC/DC, Lenny Kravitz and Motley Crue. Their 2009 release, "Live & Loud 2009" debuted in September and featured live performances in six Canadian venues. The CD features "Lit Up," "Ridin’," "Sorry," and "For the Movies," as well as songs from "Black Butterfly."
Renowned for their melodic yet go-for-the-throat styling, Buckcherry is also well-known for their incredible stage presence.
