Day 7 – Seminars, Demos, Shopping
Today was another day so chock full of activities I didn’t get a chance to ride. Not to worry, the Tuono still got some attention in the form of mini photo shoot outside the condo. Conference goers attended more seminars such as "Accident Scene Management," "Preparing for the Ride," "Motorcycle Mentoring," and more, as others shopped til they dropped in the marketplace.
And if that isn’t enough motorcycle overload for the day, demo rides were available from Harley Davidson, Buell, Ducati, Kymco, Yamaha, and BMW. I overheard the riders raving about the demo route saying the scenery and twisty roads made it one of the best event locations for demo rides.
Later we all cruised into the River Run Center for the International Street Party hosted by Motorcycle Canada. The evening program included bike show awards, a speech from FIM (International Motorcycling Federation) representative from Switzerland Brigitte Zuffrey, a women’s motorcycle apparel fashion show, and keynote speaker Deb Grey, Canada’s "First Lady of Reform" and fellow motorcyclist.
Following the program, we took a group photo and danced the night away to local Colorado band Johnny Rev and the Pushrods. With the excitement still building, it’s hard to believe tomorrow will be the last day of the conference.
