Wiley X Eyewear Announces Motorcycle Sweepstakes Tour

Wiley Partners With Custom Bike Builder Arlen Ness for Custom Chopper Giveaway.

High performance and good looks has made Wiley X® Eyewear an industry leader for more than 22 years, providing protective eyewear for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and high-speed enthusiasts in various retail sectors, to name a few. Now Wiley X is joining forces with another powerhouse — Arlen Ness — and is sharing its vision for high speed safety and success on the road and off with the new Wiley X High Velocity Protection Sweepstakes Tour.

This exciting nationwide sweepstakes is launching at the V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati and is available to all Wiley X fans in every market. The amazing grand prize is a branded Wiley X custom motorcycle designed by the legendary Arlen Ness, with a first prize of a special Impact Z racing helmet, signed by Wiley X sponsored NASCAR heavyweights Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle, Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick®.

Thereʼs no purchase necessary — and several easy ways for participants to register to win and receive further details: simply go to the Wiley X website at, head into any Wiley X dealer or visit one of Wiley Xʼs automated kiosks touring many NASCAR motor sports events around the country this year.

Wiley X dealers will be sporting special new high impact point-of-sale cubes to support the sweepstakes and the brand, and all Wiley X packaged products at retailers nationwide will have a special sweepstakes insert card with information for registration. The special mobile information unit kiosks will be highly visible on a Wiley X “tour” that will cover more than 60,000 miles during the year. Winners will be announced on October 25th, 2009, so enthusiasts of every stripe can start getting on the inside track right away.

Arlen Ness, an industry leader in motorcycle customization, began working out of his garage in 1967. In the past four decades Ness has become one of the most established custom bike builders in the industry, making the family-run Arlen Ness Enterprises a huge success — completing a wide spectrum of customized motorcycles for private enthusiasts and high profile custom bikes for companies such as Victory, Harley Davidson and Ferrari.

“We created this grand prize sweepstakes to show our support of the many loyal Wiley X customers nationwide, from those who protect our freedom every day to the motorcycle rider, shooting sports, hunting, fishing and/or sports enthusiasts, to name just a few,” says Myles Freeman Jr., President of Sales for Wiley X. “And what better way to do that than by giving away a customized Arlen Ness motorcycle from Wiley X?”
