2011 Japanese Quake
Polaris, which manufactures ATVs, snowmobiles and the Victory motorcycle brand, donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross this week in order to support relief efforts in Japan.

Japan Earthquake Update
For the second time since the March 11 Japan Earthquake and subsequent tsunami, Honda has extended the suspension of production at three factories, includoing the Kumamoto Factory (Ozu-machi, Kikuchi-gun, Kumamoto) that produces motorcycles.
Bridgestone Corporation announced today that Bridgestone and Dorna Sports have signed a new three-year deal that will see the Japanese manufacturer continue as the Official Tyre Supplier to the premier class of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) MotoGP World Championship from 2012-2014.

Due to the relief effort in Northeastern Japan from to the Earthquake and subsequent Tsunami, Honda has extended the suspension of production until March 23 at three factories.
This includes the Kumamoto Factory, where Honda manufactures motorcycles (the CBR600, the VFR1200F, the DN-01 and the Super Cub).
