2012 Yamaha FJR 1300 J | Quick Look

2012 Yamaha Motorcycle

Long running, but updated a few years back, the Yamaha FJR1300A is a bare bones sport-touring canyon brawler that puts performance and handling above creature comforts and high-technology.

Weighing in at a claimed 644 pounds wet, the FJR is nicely at home in corners and willing to adjust its line, as conditions require.

It still offers what you’d expect in a sport-tourer-nice bags (with liners), a full-protection fairing, and relaxed ergonomics.

The top ratio in the five-speed gearbox is a bit low, so focus on sport more than straight-line touring.
