The all-new 2026 MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro brings with it the most powerful three-cylinder motor in Brutale history. A new chassis has been brought in to house the 148-horsepower beast, justifying the all-new designation. Called the Serie Oro (Gold Series in English), this is a special edition limited to 300 examples. Let’s take a look at the gold MV Agusta is mining.
- The new 950 Evo powerplant displaces 931cc, and it loves to rev. The 148-horsepower peak comes at 11,2000 rpm, and torque tops out at 8400 rpm. However, 85 percent of the 79 lb-ft torque peak is available from 3500 rpm, so there’s plenty of pull at any rev count. Top-feed injectors work with a Mikuni 50mm throttle body. The final step in the exhaust process is three Termignoni slip-on titanium pipes. Cooling is via radiators for coolant and oil. Steel valves and more durable valve seats improve durability, and MV Agusta delivers the Serie Oro with a five-year warranty.
- The 2026 MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro has a sophisticated electronics system. There are four programmed riding modes, plus a Custom mode available. The electronics package allows the rider to personalize throttle response, traction control, wheelie control, engine braking, and ABS in any mode.
- The six-speed transmission has a quickshifter. The clutch has both slipper and assist functions.
- It’s still a steel trellis frame, but the design for the 2026 MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro is all-new. Stability is the goal, with a longer single-sided swingarm, extended wheelbase, and relaxed rake—MV is reliably secretive about the number. Overall, the handling is “neutral yet razor-sharp,” according to an MV insider.
- The rider’s triangle has plenty of changes compared to previous Brutales. The grips sit higher and more forward. The new seat is three-quarters of an inch wider at the front and an inch-and-a-half wider at the rear. The seat is also an inch-and-a-half longer. Additionally, the shape has been altered for more comfort, as has the padding. The seat cover is Alcantara in striking red. The footpegs are up, back, and set wider, for improved cornering clearance and comfort.
- Öhlins provides the suspension. The NIX inverted 43mm fork and Öhlins TTX GP 36 shock aren’t new. However, they are top-shelf units, though not semi-active.
- The forged aluminum wheels have high-end rubber. Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires put the power to the ground and grip in the corners. A 190 is used at the rear.
- Brembo handles braking duties. A pair of Hypur calipers take hold of the 320mm discs in the front, with a new radially mounted 17mm Brembo master cylinder doing your bidding. A two-piston Brembo caliper grasps the 220mm rear disc, and the master cylinder is positioned to avoid conflict with your right boot. ABS is the Continental MK100 setup, which features cornering awareness and three settings.
- The five-inch TFT display is full-featured. By pairing the 2026 MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro with your smartphone via the MV App, you get a GPS system, anti-theft measures, crash detection, and geofencing. A new lithium battery provides lightweight juice.
- The 2026 MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro has a list price of $26,998. There is only one color available—Pearl Shock Red/Ago Silver—and it is limited to 300 numbered examples from the Varese factory.
