It’s time for Daytona, the most-anticipated round of the Monster Energy AMA Championship Series. Held on the infield of Daytona International Speedway, it’s a unique track designed by five-time Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael. With that in mind, let’s get to the 2026 Daytona Supercross fantasy picks for RMFantasySX players, and tips for everyone else who loves playing fantasy supercross.
- Chase Sexton and Jorge Prado are out. That means we have a solid top five for Daytona. In alphabetical order, we have Justin Cooper, Hunter Lawrence, Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac, and Cooper Webb. That means the difference between a winning week and a frowny-face week is getting the order right. We already have five inarguable top-five favorites lined up.

- This is Eli Tomac’s track. Tomac has won seven times in Daytona International Speedway. The only chink in his armor is that Tomac hasn’t won the last two years after his five-win streak was snapped by Jett Lawrence in 2024. Last year, Roczen stood on the top step of the podium. However, Tomac has three podiums and five wins this year, so he is on his game and only four points behind series leader Hunter Lawrence. Tomac comes in with a 1-2 run, so a win is in the cards.

- Lawrence will resume his P2 spot. Lawrence has four P2s in seven rounds, though he hasn’t been in P2 in the last two rounds, including his maiden 450SX win last Saturday in Arlington. Lawrence will bring his winning momentum into Daytona and should be a threat to Tomac for the win. If Lawrence wins again, I won’t be surprised, but I still have Tomac as my top pick with Lawrence in P2.

- Cooper Webb has established himself as a reliable podium guy. Webb has been on the podium in the last four races, going 1-3-2-3. Although he lacks the speed of Lawrence and Tomac, Webb has tenacity and racecraft in his favor. Like Lawrence, Webb will be contesting Tomac for the top spot on the podium. I have him for P3, based on history and the last two weeks of results.

- Roczen is recovering from an illness from last week, so his condition is speculative. After finding the podium five times in the first six rounds, Roczen has gone 10-4 the last two weeks. His record of a win, four podiums, and five top-fives mirrors Webb’s tally this year. However, Roczen has no momentum coming into Dayton International Speedway. Despite his win last year, I see Roczen off the podium in P4.

- Justin Cooper has been building all year. He started off slowly, with no top-five finishes in the first four rounds this year. Since then, Cooper hasn’t dropped out of the top five, as he’s on a 4-3-5 run. I rate Roczen slightly higher than Cooper at Daytona, so it’s P5 for Cooper. If you’re not satisfied that Roczen will be 100 percent, go with Cooper for P4 followed by Roczen. No one else is even close to being in your top five, unless you’re shooting for the moon.
- We have a favorite for the P10 Wild Card this week: Dylan Ferrandis. The Frenchman has gone 9-9-11-10-9-9-10 this year. That’s right, he has not finished more than one position away from P10 in 2026. Ferrandis will be the pick of many, so if you want to swim against the tide, Justin Hill, Aaron Plessinger, Malcolm Stewart, and Ken Roczen have P10 finishes this year. Roczen is already spoken for in the top five, so the other three riders are all reasonable picks. I favor Hill (10-11-12) over Plessinger (8-7-8) and Stewart (22-6-11).
