Last year, the Triumph TF 450-RC Special Edition ended the 50-year drought of motocross bikes from the British marque. The 2026 Triumph TF 450-X settles in as the flagship MXer, with a few changes.   1. Pirelli Scorpion MX32 tires replace Dunlop Geomax MX34 rubber. This change will be cheered by many who ride in softer, loamier conditions. Regardless, tires are consumables.

  1. The clutch on the 2026 Triumph TF 450-X has been upgraded. There’s a new Exedy clutch hub has lubrication ports designed to transfer torque more efficiently and improve durability. The clutch gets a new Belleville spring; a Triumph insider tells us the swap was made for “enhanced durability and refined clutch action.”
