Chase Sexton (#4).

It was a wildly unpredictable night of Supercross Triple Crown racing on a slippery track inside State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Chase Sexton used his consistency to ride a 3-3-2 card to an unlikely overall victory. Sexton’s win moves him into the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series standings lead after four of 17 rounds.

Jett Lawrence went into the final Race leading, thanks to a pair of P2 finishes. However, he twisted his knee in the second turn of Race 3 and was forced to retire due to pain. Jett’s 2-2-21 left him in P8 overall. Lawrence was hobbling in the pits after the race, though able to walk without assistance. The severity of his injury is not yet known.

Cooper Webb was the only Race winner to podium in either of the other two Races. That was good enough for Webb to take P2 overall with 1-5-3 results. Webb is P4 in the standings, one point behind Tomac.

Ken Roczen came into State Farm Stadium atop the Supercross standings. However, Roczen’s 4-1-5 night was only good enough for P3 overall. That allowed Sexton to take a two-point lead over Roczen, who had to make a pass on Justin Barcia late in Race 3 to secure his P3 result.

After struggling early, Eli Tomac continued to improve and won the final Race of the night. Tomac’s 6-4-1 tally left him off the podium by a point. Tomac is P3 in the standings, nine points behind leader Sexton.

Hunter Lawrence filled out the top five with a 5-9-4 night. Lawrence is P7 in the 2025 Supercross standings, two points behind Jason Anderson (P7 at Glendale) and nine points shy of his brother, Jett.

The series heads east for round 5 on February 8 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. Check out our 2025 Supercross Television Schedule for viewing times from Florida.
