Who: Jason Belz of Reading, Pa.
Occupation: Capital Equipment Sales
Owned since: 2010
Where was this purchased: From a private owner via Craigslist in Bernville, Pa.
Why this motorcycle: “I always liked this style of bike. The color scheme is iconic and the frame shape is so distinguishable. I was looking for a project and thought it would be fun to restore an older sport bike.”
Mods: “I turned this bike back to stock but left the period Vance & Hines Exhaust and added a jet kit. It could use some paint work but I like the ‘rider’ patina.”
Why I ride: “I was born to ride!”

This bike looks great! I remember riding this back-to-back with the then-revised 2011 GSX-R750. These older sportbikes have something that truly connects you to the mechanical aspects of the bike – something hard to find in a modern-age of savvy electronics.
