Honda’s Justin Barcia Out of Thunder Hill MotocrossJustin Barcia News

This weekend’s Thunder Valley National – round three of 12 – will be short one major competitor – Justin Barcia.

The Team Honda Muscle Milk rider is nursing a foot and ankle injury. He will take a week off to heal up.

“We are really bummed that Justin has to miss out on this weekend’s race,” stated Team Manager Dan Betley. “He has been riding really well the last couple weeks and after an impressive performance last year at Colorado, we had high hopes for him heading into the event. We look forward to his return.”

Despite a tough first moto at Glen Helen he was able to log a 13th overall, with an impressive fourth place finish in moto two. At Hangtown, Barcia battled throughout the afternoon to finish fifth overall with 4-5 finishes.

American Honda will release more information as it becomes available.
