AMA Pro Flat Track & Cometic Sign Two-Year Partnership2014 AMA Pro Flat Track Championship

Officials from AMA Pro Racing and Cometic Gasket, Inc., have announced a two-year partnership for the 2014 and 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track seasons.

As part of the partnership, Cometic will provide four custom tents to be deployed in the AMA Pro Flat Track inspection area, as well as free replacement gasket sets for any rider whose engine is disassembled as part of the tech inspection process.

“We are very excited about this new official partnership with Cometic,” said Dan Johnsen, Director of AMA Pro Flat Track. “Cometic has been in our paddock for several years now and they have been extremely reliable and beneficial to us.

“It’s imperative to have replacement gaskets available for when a rider’s engine gets disassembled during a technical inspection and we’re glad to have Cometic provide this service.”

The large co-branded tents will be pitched for the first time next week as DAYTONA Flat Track once again plays host to the AMA Pro Flat Track season opener as the series kicks off the 2014 season with a doubleheader on the quarter-mile lime rock track located outside Daytona International Speedway’s west banking on March 13-14, 2014.
