2013 BMW Motorrad Recap
This past July’s BMW Motorrad Days 2013 in Garmisch, Germany, was a perfect success for the Bavarian motorcycle manufacturer.
The 13th event brought record-breaking attendance, with over 40,000 visitors from over 40 nations.
This year’s event helped BMW Motorrad celebrate its 90th anniversary, and many attractions were on hand, including motorcycle-racing stars, test rides, new products and a stunt show.
Highlighting a special exhibition at BMW Motorrad Days 2013 were an R32 dating back to 1923, along with Gaston Rahier’s Dakar Rally winning boxer. BMW also had all of its new motorcycles on hand, including the 2013 R 1200 GS adventure tourer and the new F 800 GT.
And as for celebrities, BMW stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer laid down some stunts on his F800R, and the crowd was greeted by BMW Motorrad GoldBet World Superbike riders Marco Melandri and Chaz Davies.
