For the past 32 years, the BMW GS series has been the defining motorcycle in the adventure segment.
And for 2013, the Bavarian manufacturer has significantly upgraded its R1200GS. This is BMW’s most popular adventure model, the company selling over 170,000 units since its inception in 2004.
The 2013 BMW R1200GS is one of the most anticipated adventure motorcycles of 2013, the bike arriving with a semi-water cooled boxer twin – the first-ever for a GS motorcycle.
The founder of Touratech, Herbert Schwarz, recently put a few thousand miles on the 2013 R1200GS while traveling throughout Madagascar, testing the bike and Touratech accessories.
