Joby GorillaTorch | Hands-free Flashlight Review

Ultimate MotorCycling QuickShift Review

You have to love when ingenuity and evolution combine to make life easier. We often have a crowded garage at Ultimate MotorCycling, and lighting can get tricky with lots of bikes in the way.

The GorillaTorch 100 from Joby is a work light mounted on a tripod of highly flexible rubber legs. That, alone, can be highly useful, yet the GorillaTorch can do even more.

Setting up the Gorilla Torch is easy. The rubberized feet aren’t picky about where you place them, as the three-AA powered adjustable 100-lumen LED is lightweight and on a highly flexible mount.

We became truly impressed with the Torch when we realized the feet are also magnetic. That allows you to attach them to steel parts on your bike, for more mounting options.

If you put one leg on its “knee,” and bend the foot up, a nut, bolt, or washer can be held by the Joby GorrillaTorch. Oh, and batteries are included!

The GorillaTorch 100 retails for $29.95, and other brighter models are available. For additional information, log onto joby.com/gorillatorch.
