2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Pics
Kawasaki has been the clear leader in the entry-level sportbike market since releasing its Ninja 250 back in 1983.
The bike remained relatively unchanged until a major revision in 2008, Kawasaki updating the styling and adding an “R” to the 250 name across world-wide markets.
But with more and more competition arriving from other manufacturers, most notably Honda’s CBR250R, Kawasaki decided it was time for a major overhaul.
Enter the 2013 Ninja 300, with features the entry-level specifics of the Ninja 250 R – lightweight, agility, optimal fuel mileage – but with bigger displacement (296cc vs. 249cc), digital fuel injection, a new F.C.C. clutch with assist and slipper functions, and optionally ABS.
And for 2013, Kawasaki is offering the Ninja 300 in three colors – Ebony, Pearl Stardust White and Lime Green/Ebony with Special Edition Graphics.
