AMD World Championship of Bike Builders
Avon Tyres congratulates a distinguished group of AMD World Championship class winners – each of whom selected Avon Tyres. The ninth annual AMD World Championship of Bike Builders celebrated custom bike builders from around the globe at the 2012 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Aug. 5-8.
AFT Customs (Jackson, Calif.) earned the win in the Performance Custom Class for the second consecutive year with the beautiful “Halia” built by the AFT Customs’ female custom motorcycle builders and professional models featuring Avon Cobra 120/70R19 (front), and Cobra 180/55R18 (rear).
Darwin Motorcycles (Oklahoma City, Ok.) earned the win in the Production Class
with the F3 Rocketeer. The F3 Rocketeer featured Avon Distanzia AM43 110/80R19 (front), and AM44 150/70R17 (rear).
Others who selected Avon Tyres included third place Production Class competitor Kiwi Indian Motorcycles with the “Hendee Deviant” on Avon Cobra tires, and fourth place Freestyle Class competitor Kreater Custom Motorcycles with the “18”, also on Avon Cobra tires.
