Dungey ran away with the victories in a field lacking the man who swept the first two rounds of AMA Motocross – Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart. The Floridian crashed while in the lead on the fourth lap. When Stewart got up, he seemed to favor his right hand. Due to the injury, he DNF’d in the first moto, and didn’t start moto2.With Stewart gone, Dungey took the moto 1 easily; joining him on the podium were Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer and former teammate, Yoshimura Suzuki’s Brett Metalfe. In the second moto, Dungey got the holeshot and immediately opened a gap on the field. Joining him on the moto2 podium was Chaparral Honda’s Andrew Short and Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Broc Tickle.Attached above are video highlights of Thunder Valley Motocross; for a report, including full results, click here.
