2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R
Last week, Ultimate Motorcycling’s President Arthur Coldwells was at the press launch for the 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R.
And as part of that launch, Coldwells and fellow moto-journalists were invited to Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s quarter-mile track to have some fun with the all-new ZX-14 R with lessons from AMA Drag Racing Champion Rickey Gadson.
Gadson, who helped put Coldwells into the lower 10s on a stock ZX-14R, took a lightly-modified machine down the Vegas strip at an impressive 9:31 at 141.86 mph.
The modificiations? A Brock’s lowering kit and two-teeth off the rear sprocket.
